Validation is the official recognition of the validity for academic purposes of higher education undertaken overseas, whether or not this has been completed through obtaining a qualification.
The effects of this validation of partial studies are, in general, purely limited to the academic world since they allow for courses to be continued within the Spanish education system. These courses can culminate, where relevant, with obtaining the corresponding Spanish university qualification, once the relevant course has been passed. This Spanish qualification will have all the corresponding official effects, without any distinction being made.
